I have a whole stash of baby clothing that my mother and grandmother made for me when I was a baby, that I have been hoarding since I was a teenager in my hope chest. Part of me wanted to have a girl just so that I could actually use some of these clothes with my own baby. A few pieces have started to fit Ava (kind of) and I couldn't be more thrilled about it. It feels so warm to see her in these little clothes. This top was made by my Nanna, her great grandmother, and it delights me she gets to see her wearing it! I love the little details with the butterfly buttons and the lace trim. By next summer she should really fit into. :)
I have really been getting into taking more photos of Ava lately. I mean I have been taking photos of her almost every day since she was born, but I've really been trying to capture all her little expressions instead of just snapping a photo of her outfit. I love all the little faces she makes. They seem endless. I can't believe this little bug will be 9 months soon. Craziness.
The adorable little leggings are from Spell + The Gypsy (they are sold out but they have adorable other clothing for boho babes)
