A BOHO KITCHEN RUG

A boho kitchen rug

Hey friends. So, you may know that I am a lover of a good vintage boho rug. I recently bought one for our kitchen + I am so in love. I wasn’t 100% sure it was going to work in the kitchen, but it ended up being a perfect fit! I like having a rug under my feet over the tile, and I honestly don’t mind a little wear + tear on a good ol’ vintage rug. They tend to just gain more character as far as I’m concerned. I just vacuum it every few days + wipe up spills the moment they happen. The rug we had before in there was beautiful, but it was a thin rug that would get bunched up anytime a cat came running through the kitchen, which was daily. I chose a rug with a thick weave + sturdy base to replace it.

I’m sharing this with you b/c Ecarpetgallery (my favorite place for rugs - we now have 7 of them!) wanted to give my followers a discount after seeing our rug in the kitchen! I could not pass up the opportunity to share this with you guys. Maybe you got some Xmas cash + are not sure what you want to spend it on. A rug is something you can love for years + years to come. Use the code LAURA1 to get 25% off any rug!! *cannot be combined with other sales*

So far Ava loves to use it as a runway for her Paw Patrol car + Cosmo loves to just lay on it while I’m cooking. I honestly can’t tell you how many times I find myself sitting on the kitchen floor for various reasons, so it’s nice to have underneath me. I also like to stretch and do yoga while I’m cooking sometimes… anyone else?

I’d love to know which side you are on… heck yes, life is short, put a rug in the kitchen! Or hell no, I would never risk getting a pretty rug dirty?
